The Tapi Irrigation Development Corporation has invited bids for the construction of a rising main pipeline and associated infrastructure under Stage 2 of the Bhagpur Lift Irrigation Scheme in Jalgaon taluka, Maharashtra.
The project scope includes laying a rising main pipeline and developing a gravity-based pipe distribution network (PDN), along with crossings over national highways and railway lines. It also involves the construction of three pump houses with delivery chambers. In addition to civil works, the contract covers mechanical and electrical components, installation of SCADA systems, and surge protection measures to ensure efficient monitoring, control, and operational safety of the irrigation network.
The tender further includes operation and maintenance of the system for a period of five years, aimed at ensuring reliable water delivery and long-term sustainability. The integration of advanced technologies such as SCADA is expected to improve efficiency, optimise resource use, and enhance overall system performance.
The project is estimated at ₹1,724.46 crore, with a stipulated completion period of 48 months. The last date for submission of bids is March 30, 2026.
